CAREER DESCRIPTION:
Provide Novell administration support to a 500+-user Novell and Microsoft network. Coordinate client/server operations with the infrastructure group and desktop support group. Perform administration for GroupWise 6. Manage and update Novell Directory Structure tree. Conduct systems maintenance and backup on Novell, Microsoft, and Linux servers. Conduct server migrations in complex legacy environments. Responsible for the design of NDS Tree, GroupWise PO/Domain, domain authentication and security.
CAREER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate will have a minimum of 6 years Enterprise Novell administration experience. Candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in Novell GroupWise. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication, time management, technical writing and documentation skills required.
Any of the following certifications desired: Novell MCNE 6, MCNE 5, CNE 6, CNE 5, Veritas Backup Exec, GroupWise 6 Administration
Ability to pass U.S. Government background check
TRAVEL: Less than 5%
